The new Cain "High Tech Lynching ad
Liberals are out to destroy Cain, really? I believe Liberals are praying that Cain gets the nomination. Rove, Perry, Bachmann, and Romney are the ones to investigate for Cains high tech lynching.
Actually it is Cain who is responsible for his own high tech lynching because he could not resist the urge to diddle the cute ladies on his staff at the American Restaurant Association.

The left always tips it hand. I'd like to get a group together to play poker some night.

First, I agree that the woman has the right to retain her privacy. However, so long as she remained anonymous, the better choice for her and her lawyer would have been to remain silent. The statement that was issued really adds nothing to the discussion.
As far as Cain's ad - it is pathetic. If the Obama campaign had ever come close to "playing the race card" as Cain did in this ad, he would have never recovered. The allegations against Cain have involved sexually inappropriate comments or suggestions. None of the allegations were reported to have had anything to do with race. It is the right wing that has brought up racial stereotypes in order to feign indignation over their use.
The Cain campaign's amateurish response to the issues has to do with his amateurish approach to the campaign. As Donald Trump demonstrated during his dalliance, a presidential campaign is not a place for political rookies. Cain's difficulty in handling this scandal has nothing to do with his race and everything to do with his political inexperience.

D-Ray

Women who have been sexually harrassed are not usually willing to open old wounds once they have healed. Not to mention the National Restaurant Association has not agreed to waive the confidentiality agreement in the settlement. If they speak out it could spell big trouble for them.
The bigger story concerning alleged illegal campaign donations is really gaining some traction in the news, but is over shadowed by a story about a baptist minister sexually harrassing women.
It has gotten so bad that the Koch funded Americans for Prosperity is investigating it's payments to a non-profit group run by Mark Black, Cains Campaign manager, and the smoking man in the first ad. Blacks non-profit funneled $40,000 into Cains campaign. It is illegal for non-profits to donate to campaigns. Cain did not disclose the $40,000 in his financial report. Looks like AFP is trying to cover their ass.
Cain, the fun never ends. Hey that could be his campaign slogan.

He was not a party in the lawsuit. It was between the women and their employer the National Restaurant Association. Cain was just the harasser that got the ball rolling.

Actually, with respect to the first claim, at least, there never was a lawsuit. There was an internal complaint that was resolved before any public filing at all. That is one reason why the details are murky - there is little or no paper trail.
