Theory:

The "International" community really likes how Obama does business with them as they are more concernd with them than with "US" (read "US" both ways).

He will be facing the potential of losing his power balance in congress in 2010 elections, so they throw him the "Nobel Prize" as a bone in an attempt to sway American Politics, hoping that our nation will get weaker and be assimilated into their image of the "New World".

End of theory

When the rest of the world likes our pres more than we do, I'm very f**kin' worried.

Yea, NOON, I know, a lot of americans like Obama, but it seems to me he has a higher rating from outside the country, than from within. Thats scary!

Please insert your "He's cleaning up GW's mess comments here ()!!

In world politics I'll take a Cowboy over a diplomat everytime!!!

I dunno. Didn't take anyone very long to figure out this wasn't doing him any favors. I'm sure they know at least *one* American. And pretty much any of us could have told them that. So new theory:

They hate freedom. They hate America. They, and Rush Limbaugh, want to see Obama fail.

Well, could be.

And yes, he is cleaning up GWs mess.

The 2nd coming of Camelot. Remember what DeGaulle said about Kennedy?

"Kennedy is the nation's mask, Johnson is the nation's face."

DeGaulle had it figured out. The rest of 'em will catch on after awhile. Then they'll go back to hating our guts...some things never change.

Hi Ed, I'm back, relaxed, and with a shot or two of sour mash in my gullet.

Please excuse me if I've been somewhat cranky, another rough week. One would think that being the "Chairman of the Board" means you bull everyone else around, but that's not the way it works.

Concerning cleaning up GW's mess. While I already know your response, are you sure that he's not making it worse?

Chas

Hey man, I know what you mean. No worries. I think I just rolled past 55 hours for this week and will be here 'till 6:00 at least.

Well I might just surprise you. Am I sure? Nope. I am not. It would take someone a lot smarter than me to know that. It feels more right to me, but only time will tell. I think time did show that W had more wrong than right. We'll see how it pans out. I could be wrong. Wouldn't be the first time.

Take care,

Ed

On that note, one of Bush's deals I was in favor of was investing SS money in the stock market. I was dead wrong on that one. Thank God the Democrats killed that idea. We'd be in much, much tougher shape right now.
