Sometimes it's just a matter of whose ox is getting gored. Maybe that's why so many find Rush repulsive. Nothing is beyond him when it comes to picking on those who are to the left of Genghis Khan.

I do think that Stewart will take his shots at anyone engaging in the absurd, regardless of political stripes. I would not go so far as to say that he is an equal opportunity shredder, but I would suggest that the public figures on the right provide a greater source of absurdity. A haven't caught any of his take on Weiner being exposed.
