If you watch the video of this "gaff", you'll see she has her head down the whole time signing autographs and with the microphones constantly in her face -- she keeps babbling. Doesn't CARE about the quality of the delivery. WITHOUT the babbling, on prepared remarks, she does better than Biden..

I reserve the imbecile or moron status to those who make mistakes of SUBSTANCE or policy. (Like Cynthia McKinney this week in Libya PRAISING the socialist totalitarian govt of Khaddafy)

And more often than not -- the press ends up looking silly for dinging her on facts and substance where THEY display a lack of understanding --- EXACTLY like this incident where it turns out Palin was inarticulate, but factually solid..

I know that somewhere in history, B'rer Rabbit and Uncle Remus became "Verboten". But the story of the "tar baby" fits here so well. How PERFECT a psych op is this!! B'rer rabbit (the REPs) construct the perfect meaningless inanimate object (Palin) that exploits the vainness of the media and the animosity of the left (that would be Mr. Fox kiddies). They beat themselves up til exhaustion because they just have to destroy it.. And come out looking liking psychopaths because of all the screaming and contortions involved in the attacks..

Seems like I got the Fox and Rabbit mixed up in this tale. It's the FOX (the REPs, that makes MUCH more sense eh?) that uses b'rer rabbit's vanity and temper to trap him on the tar baby.. So it's b'rer rabbit that says to the tar baby,
