Can I insult someone too? I want to feel needed

History says clearly the the US federal government, forget parties, has overstepped its' authority. So yes, I'd love more folks to read history....

No kidding, I hate the boxes. And the single video store in fair driving distance does not, I repeat, does NOT have all 4 Lethal Weapons! Wankers.

Really I didn't even THINK of it, thanks.

Forgive me for implying that you have brains.

I have observed in my fifty-something years, however, that you don't find too many brainless twits who have a sense of humor. Sorry, then, you don't qualify as a brainless twit. Misinformed, misguided, wrong-headed, jack-boot capitalist - maybe - but not brainless.

D-Ray

Yes, actually we do. One right down the street as a matter of fact, and I dread the day they shut it down. The cool thing is this; I have Fios On Demand at the house. But the rentals from the local store are $1.20 cheaper. So, I can walk over to House of Video, rent two movies, get my exercise and save $2.40 while I'm at it. I pay $90 a month for Fios cable and still have to pay extra for the movies? What a ripoff......

I just gave up cable TV last week. I got the $8/month Netflix subscription instead. I used to watch perhaps three shows a week on TV, so cable was absolutely not worth the money. I do feel a bit disconnected from the world since I can't get anything in real time, but I think I'll get over it soon. I still need to experiment with an antenna for OTA broadcasts.

The NCAA tournament delayed my cancellation of the cable service.Unfortunately, the Final Four became a bit less interesting on Sunday afternoon. Dave, are folks around your parts excited about the run VCU is making? The folks around these parts are devastated. Besides losing two seniors, KU stands a chance to lose four underclassmen to the NBA. Oh well, such is the state of college athletics today,

Regards,

D-Ray

VCU's run is all the rage around here for sure. The Colonial Athletic Association seems to have made quite a showing in recent years (George Mason a few years back). Kansas was simply outhustled and outshot in Sunday's game (to my surprise and delight). BTW, my sister went to VCU.

Kentucky and UConn Cinderellas? On what planet?

As for Butler, they may have stepped out of their Cinderella slippers as well by virtue of being in the championship game last year.

Go Rams!!!
