You better come to grips with the reality that your world is about to make a huge change. You REALLY seem to be in denial.
Grow up and get rid of this "Nanny State" mentality. This country will go bankrupt and if you think we are going to pay more or even the current amount of taxes to keep you happy, you might want to think again.
By the way, that property in not my only one up there. Guess what, I'm getting some good deals because the Crown Lands are being sold. What is that?...it's privatizing.
maybe if you study history you will gain a better understanding of the world

Rant over.
i respectfully disagree

painter is on to nothing

this started as an intolerant right wing forum and has undergone may personality changes over time

it was cordial if you sat on the right in the beginning

I have no photographic memory but I damned well do know what was said here and by who when folks took personal insult from political differences.

I thank you for your post. You and I are 180 degrees out of sync on most things political but we have been able to state our thoughts without personal insults. That is what I wish everyone could do. I have strong feelings about what is right and what is wrong for this country as do you but we still respect each other as individuals and that is part of what makes this country as strong as it is.

only a fool would not show you respect jj
(I know I have erred on occasion, sorry)
you have a fine family and always try to be polite and your opinion is valued as a result

however, agreeing with you is another story!

my guess is that our experiences in life have been vastly different and that accounts for our juxtaposed opinions
