What do you know? Chas is on the youtube!

Pretty sure this is our own Chas performing with a bloke called Dave.

Well done Chas! This darn song is completely stuck in my head. I have to admit, I absolutely love it.

If you watch Top Gear you'll recognize this as the song the Stig was listening to while driving the Lexus LFA. Took me a bit to find it. I'll be damned if that's not my new favorite song. Okay, for a little bit anyhow.

Thank you, thank you.

I'll tell you a little about Dave...or Ziggy as we call him.

First time I ever went deer hunting it was with him. He passed out, rolled down a hill losing his rifle and his glasses in the process, woke up in a 35 degree pouring down rainstorm, and was pissed off at ME!!!

I ain't lying.

Chas

Awesome, Chas!

I developed my beer belly at 16. About twenty years ago, I cut my beer intake to one or two beers a week, but the beer belly stayed....................

That's about when I started on mine. I actually got rid of it for several years...then my back went out.

I was an animal until I hit 44-45, them my body came apart at the seams. Oh well, I was tired of lugging shingles up a ladder nonstop when it was 100 degrees anyway.

Shoot, when they shingled our roof they brought in a damn big truck with a crane. Forget what they were per square but it is a 30 year roof so pretty heavy I guess.

We use an elevator when we can. I've also grown more particular about which jobs I take.

We have a tile roof. We have a guy in once a year or so who specializes in tile. I hate the damn thing. I've paid for a new normal roof at least three times over. But that skinny little dude sure can crawl up and down that tile roof like nobody's business. It's steep as hell too. Don't know how he does it. I think knowing the killing he's making off me motivates him.

I hate 'em too, especially the Spanish types. A giant stinging bug nest.

When I was younger I helped both brothers build their homes. Used to run all over the roof and even the second floor beams before the floor was down. Not any more, damn roof scares me.

I quit walking plates about 10 yrs ago, about the time I went to reading glasses. Always thought that anyone who did their layout with a step ladder was a pussy, guess I'd rather be an old pussy than a cripple.

At your age, you have no business on a roof. Even at my age, I don't have much business on a roof. My balance isn't what it once was.
