Coming around again.

Whoppee! That nasty Egyptian dictator has been replaced with a warm benevolent military government that will of course hold free and fair elections 'when the time is right'. So that's alright then. Everything peaceful. Muslim Brotherhood? Never heard of them.

And when was the last time a Militarist Government ended up being anything but a------------------brutal dictatorship? Yeah, you'll have your Jeffersonian Democracy------maybe, some day----when we feel like it---or maybe not---Just remember, we are the military, rise up against us and we'll napalm your your angry crowds of protesters.

Dave

Don't forget that the Egyptian military is a conscript army. Someday they will be civilians again, why would they want to go backward, after all they are Egyptians not Teapublicans.

As time goes on, I'm beginning to relate more and more to the old Eyetie in the whorehouse in "Catch 22".

Chile, Argentina, the Philippines, Guatemala, Panama, .....

Hmmm. I see a trend here. All of these military dictatorships were propped up by us as well.
