I guess one persons "vitriol" is just another's passing along common knowledge of course. I just love the referral to the opposition saying things enough times it will eventually become truth in the eyes of the public and calling out the Nazi's in the same breath
Upon further investigation of this Palin and the cross hairs deal, I really wish she and her people would have explained it as I assume it was intended personally. I assume the cross hairs being a metaphor for intent focus. Crazy people don't do what they do because of shite like that. They do so because they are crazy.

So true. The public knows it and the Dems will just pay a higher price at the polls.

You know, I honestly don't believe this will have much impact on many people when it's all said and done. The Dems will do well if they can effectively motivate the young voters to get up by crack of noon to cast a vote. The Rep's will do equally well if they can sway the fence sitters and "disgusted with the lot of em" vote.

Maybe, but the Dems are losing a lot of the college kids. They
(kids) just can't find work and with every graduating class (and student loan), it's going to get worse.

True that. Speaking of college ( I have one still in and the other graduated two years ago), I wonder why you don't hear much conversation about more vocational leaning after graduation alternatives.
I think that half of these kids could do much better pursuing something that would take half as long and cost not anywhere near as much. Maybe it's time for individuals to start looking at something that may actually ability to do something and at the same time, not bury themselves in unmanageable debt.

I agree. If you can bend and weld metal real good, a fortune awaits you in the car/bike hobby. Gets chicks too and you can't overlook that when you're young!

Unlike the rest of you mugs, I try to avoid listening to and reading the ever present political white noise that passes for news these days
