Noone, whose rhetoric was responsible for Reagan being shot?

Never heard who might have done that. I did hear of a broadcaster failing to use sound editorial judgment in relying upon a source, but that's something different than cooking a story isn't it?

I thought it had to do with a new year's resolution to work our more.

D, funny how not checking a source on a story that fits your beliefs can cause one to resign in disgrace. But the press is of course absolutely nonpartisan, as this current story proves.

Perhaps, but are you trying to tell me the volume has been the same? You have a list of eight items here. How does this compare to what we have witnessed over the last few years coming from the right? Where are the "lefties" amassing on the Mall bearing AK47s and bandoliers?

There is no comparison. It's a Guppy compared to Whale, my friend.

Jody Foster made him do it.

Hinkley wasn't a member of any whacko white supremecist groups that advertise TEA Party merchandise, and praise the actions of the Tea Party on their website, Pete.

When the remarks are made by the POTUS, or a candidate for POTUS, they need no additional volume.

Cooking a story seems to me to entail deliberate falsification. Of course, the network was carrying the torch of liberalism by pushing him out because of his negligence. I still haven't heard where a comment about the GOP destroying the country was combined with any sort of call to arms.

D-Ray
