Since the end of WWII we've been borrowing from the future to fuel growth and an amazing lifestyle. My four words to the young people entering the job market: Welcome to the future.
It gives me no pleasure to say that. I have six kids, seven grandkids and one great grandchild. The only thing that gives me peace about their future is knowing that every generation has their cross to bear. They are more prepared, psychologically, than I would be. But it's going to be very hard for most of them.
But I see life as a "boot camp" anyway. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger. I've learned that from personal experience.
