It seems the plan was for Trump to invite Putin to Alaska, to a military base no less, roll out the red carpet and tell him "cease fire or else". Putin opted for "or else" and now poor Little Marco is tying his best to spin this.

Rolling Stones Martha Radditz:

Quote:
Raddatz pressed Rubio. “The president went in to that meeting saying he wanted a ceasefire and there would be consequences if they didn’t agree on a ceasefire in that meeting, and they didn’t agree to a ceasefire. Where are the consequences?” she asked.

“That’s not the aim,” Rubio responded.

“The president said that was the aim,” Raddatz said.

Here is another report on the summit. Seems the entire schedule including the lunch menu, which btw was canceled due to the abrupt ending of the summit, was left on a printer at a local hotel where some of F47's entourage stayed. Of course, the administration is now downplaying this as a misplaced lunch menu, not a breach of security.

Quote:
The papers, laying out the sequence of events and including the phone numbers of several officials, were found around 9 a.m. on Friday and sent to NPR by a guest of the hotel.
Quote:
“Instead of covering the historic steps towards peace achieved at Friday’s summit, NPR is trying to make a story out of a lunch menu. Ridiculous,” Tommy Pigott, a State Department spokesman, said in an email.
Except,
Quote:
The papers included precise times and locations of each meeting, as well as the phone numbers of several administration officials. Eliot A. Cohen, a former counselor in the State Department who served in the Bush administration, said in an interview that the administration had been both “sloppy” and “incompetent” in leaving behind the materials.

“Above all, they don’t have process,” said Mr. Cohen, who is now an analyst at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. “A well-drilled bureaucracy doesn’t do these things.”

Two images that raise my disgust of this regime to new heights. One, U.S. servicemen on their knees rolling out the red carpet for one of our enemies and two, the Traitor-in-Chief applauding said enemy as he walked the aforementioned red carpet

This is what a defeat looks like.

Trump gave away Afghanistan and crickets... remember.

Putin was just on a victory tour.

Somehow this will be blamed on Biden and Liberals... crazy world we are now in.

Gavin Newsom seems to be the only Democrat leader stepping up to the tRUMP regime. Why is that? I know part of this is because the MSM isn't trying to give others a voice but when people act like they don't hear you, talk louder. Shout if you have to.

Former Trump lawyer Alina Habba's appointment as U.S. attorney for New Jersey was 'unlawful,' judge rules
The federal judge found that Habba "unlawfully held the role" of the state's top prosecutor for more than a month.

Possibly unrelated, but possibly not: the DJI is up 950 points. Does the market like totalitarian authoritarianism or what?
