Either propaganda is all semantics though. Left or right, it's a straight line from freedom to tyranny. In that way they are the same.

In each case of, the far right far and the far left, the tyrannical versions can be viewed as Corruptions of the base ideology. Nazis are a Corruption of conservatism, and the Nazi cares nothing abour conservative principles, but only about the gratifications of exercising power. Likewise, Stalin, a corrupt Communist, took the hard line ideology of Vladimir Lenin and used it only as myth to justify the building of a permanent authoritarian oppressive regime. The result was two supposed ideologically opposed societies that in practice differed mainly in the stories they told to justify themselves.

Agreed to a large degree, they're so similar and us regular folks were screwed either way :/

When Russia painted Stalin on the buses in Moscow years ago now, I got kicked off RT News for posting: In China they killed their citizens based on social class, Nazi Germany they killed their citizens based on race and/or religion, and in the USSR they killed their citizens at random.

A perversion doesn't explain Lenin, Mussolini or Mao though. There are no examples of either extreme working for the good of their people.

The root issue is the belief that not only do I know better than you, I'm willing to use the force of government to 'help' you see what's best for you regardless of the will of the majority.

Consider 'dictatorship of the proletariat' (or in the far right's case, just a 'plain' dictatorship). That creates a theoretically benevolent dictator at the top, which leaves the top open for whatever clown - or psychopath - can take it, it's baked into both systems.

Something dawned on me last week about the mindset of this current Republican Party.

They get all upset and crazy over someone who identifies with a different sex then their at birth, or uses pronouns ....

Yet have zero issues with any extremely wealthy individuals who identifies as poor!

Must be true seeing they are so set on giving tax cuts to them hurting the majority of the rest of the country...

I see a contradiction here.
Then again the current Republicans are nothing but...

Just an observation.

This is even worse. The credit now increased to $2500 (an increase of $500) does not include those who make $36,000 a year, one has to make at least $46,000 to qualify. But those at $400,000 qualify!!!

Um, sure, blame "radical leftists" for a Republican law. Right...

If it weren't for them "radical leftists" then conservatives wouldn't have had to pass laws to save us all from "the darkness". Get it?

'GOP plan to sell more than 3,200 square miles of federal lands is found to violate Senate rules' AP

"WASHINGTON (AP) — A plan to sell more than 3,200 square miles of federal lands has been ruled out of Republicans’ big tax and spending cut bill after the Senate parliamentarian determined the proposal by Senate Energy Chairman Mike Lee would violate the chamber’s rules.

Lee, a Utah Republican, has proposed selling millions of acres (8.300 square kilometers) of public lands in the West to states or other entities for use as housing or infrastructure. The plan would revive a longtime ambition of Western conservatives to cede lands to local control after a similar proposal failed in the House earlier this year." AP

Too bad, so sad. Park it where the sun don't shine, Mike Lee.

"(Reuters) -A federal judge on Tuesday blocked the administration of President Donald Trump from eliminating union bargaining for hundreds of thousands of federal workers.

U.S. District Judge James Donato in San Francisco agreed with the American Federation of Government Employees and other unions that Trump's March 27 executive order exempting many federal agencies from obligations to bargain with unions was likely illegal." continued
