Thanks. I might be a spotty contributor though.

As am I nowadays.

As for Tesla, their dumpster on wheels is not exactly selling like hotcakes, currently at 10% of Musk sales volume predictions despite huge discounts.

The Cybertruck may well be the Edsel of the 21st century

We do have a ways to go though.

I'd consider a Model S if I was looking on that category. I think Model 3s Ys and Xs are ugly.

As would I before Musk became the willing and gleeful instrument of Trump's destruction of our country and its democratic principles.

Tesla speeds up odometers to avoid warranty repairs, US lawsuit claims
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/tesla...213536596.html

Exactly the sort of thing Skum would do, without a doubt.

'Tesla odometer readings reflect energy consumption, driver behavior and "predictive algorithms" rather than actual mileage driven.'

then it's not an odometer, it's some kind of a BS generator?

o·dom·e·ter
/ōˈdämədər/
noun
noun: odometer; plural noun: odometers; noun: hodometer; plural noun: hodometers

an instrument for measuring the distance traveled by a vehicle.

Musk will soon be hawking his Cybertrucks on late night TV like the My Pillow guy.

Tesla posts a $400M profit, down 71% year-over-year. Revenue is down nearly $2B compared to the same time last year.

Without $595M in automotive regulatory credits, which other manufacturers buy off Tesla to comply with emissions requirements, Tesla would have posted a loss this quarter.

Tesla has a manufacturing capacity of 2,125,000 Model 3's globally, but is only selling 1,295,200/year. So they're only operating at ~ 60% capacity. And we're depending on Musk to help bring manufacturing back to the USA?

They should name their next model the Tesla Titanic.

Bezos-backed Slate Auto unveils affordable EV truck
One outlet has called it the "anti-Tesla," referring to its simple, minimalist stature.

Bye-bye, Cyborg truck! This thing looks quite sensible. Not for me, but for a lot of folks. It does need more range, but with the dramatic improvements in battery tech, it should get there in 5-10 years.
