It's a truly beautiful country with amazingly friendly and hospital people, not to mention fantastic food and some mind-blowing sights.

With regard to judicial decisions in the appeal on the deportation flights, I'll just say this:
I have had dogs for most of my life and early on I learned perhaps the most important thing in training them -- don't give a dog a command unless you have a reasonable and realistic expectation that he will obey you. Otherwise, it just introduces and reinforces the idea that he doesn't need to listen to anything you say.

I fear the moment when it is finally realized by the masses how much we are powerless. Seeing that the takeover was done months ago. The feeling of lost uncertainty setting in along with the unknown territory ahead.

The takeover was started months ago but it isn't chiseled in stone yet. Or should I say the chiseling isn't finished yet.

Martial law, will he or won't he?
WILL TRUMP DECLARE MARTIAL LAW ON 4/20?
His regime has already indicated they want the courts out of their way. Martial law would be a dandy reason to postpone the 2026 elections. In saner time we could count on pushback from Congress.

I do not see how he can do this as a practical matter. How does he bring the Blue states to kneel? And chances are that the swing states will swing the other way. But then again he is unpredictable, so will not bet on it.
And if he does, the above mentioned things will happen and on that I will bet.

He'll probably hope for the military to back him up. Facing what the failure of his takeover would bring, I just don't know.

Can't access video. What's the gist of it? Under which circumstances do they see this happening?

There's a lot to unpack in the piece but the plan starts with on day one among the Executive Orders Felon signed on day one was a declaration of a national emergency on the Southern border with a clause that on 90 days his supplicants Kristi Noem and Pete Hegseth submit a report with recommendations on whether to invoke the Insurrection Act.
90 days comes up on 4/20. 90 days sounds like a round number but it's also Hitler's birthday. This piece is based on an opinion piece in the San Francisco Chronical by Brett Wagner who served as a professor of national security decision making for the Naval War College.
Now I've been saying Felon and his enablers would love to enact martial law as an excuse to postpone the 2026 midterms. To me they're sure acting like they won't have to face any elections lately.
