Europe, Australia and China are boycotting Tesla cars yet here in the US, we are buying more of his crap? Sad.
How many of these did our government buy?

From my readings, none. There was a plan by the State Dept. ($400M) to buy armored Cybertrucks, but that plan got suspended, no reason given.

Sad truth is the the Rivian RT1 beats the Cybertruck in every user category while costing $20K less, while the Hummer EV is truly a beast which beats the Cybertruck in every performance category while costing around the same.

Yet we buy more of the Cybertrucks than Rivian or the GMC Hummer. Figures, since we also elected Trump.

The whole concept was wrong from the start because it was based on Musk's personal preference for something quirky that he once saw in a sci-fi movie

Elon Musk Thinks Tesla Will Become the World's Most Valuable Company. I Predict Its Stock Will Decline by 50% (or More) Instead.

A few more rocket explosions, and maybe dumbasses buying this grossly overpriced stock will wake up to reality.

^^Apple and Microsoft are the two most valuable companies and most everyone needs them. Tesla on the other hand already has been displaced by BYD as the de facto EV car in the world but have been banned in the US and Canada. Besides every Tesla model has serious quality issues and none of them can compete with a true luxury car for creature comfort.

Currently Musk and Tesla are 'hoping' that their AI based self driving system will navigate their yet to come on the roads Robotaxi, but Waymo has a five year lead on them. Besides Tesla is still betting on all image based recognition system which has yet to prove capable of true self driving. None of their correct FSD cars can be driven without a driver and I would not want to be the driver either, its nerve-wracking. For every day driving, lane control with steering assist along with adaptive cruise control is all one needs.

I am hoping that Canada decides to import BYD's and ban Tesla on their roads, a lot of them will find their way into the US and will turn Tesla owners green with envy.

I wonder what all those Cyberbricks sitting on dealer's lots can be recycled into? I feel sorry for the souls that paid $130K+ plus for one now that the selling price has dropped by $50K (not really )

Tesla’s stock defied gravity for years. Is Elon Musk’s EV party over?
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/tesla...100234802.html

Quote:
Tesla’s electric-vehicle business accounts for almost all of its revenue but less than a quarter of its stock-market value, according to a Reuters review of more than a dozen analyses by banks and investment firms. The bulk of its worth rests on hopes for autonomous vehicles Tesla hasn't yet delivered, despite Musk's promises in every year since 2016 that driverless Teslas would arrive no later than the following year.
Small wonder Elon and fElon fit so well into each other's worlds - they're both con men.
