Good, I was wondering how many Cyberjunks $400M would buy. I'm with you however. Look for Muskrat to come back with a more "modest" figure later on.

^^I do not believe it, Tesla has thousands of unsold Cybertrucks and they have dropped their lease rate to $700 a month just to get them off their lots. Wouldn't it be nice to armor plate them and then sell to the government at NASA prices?

Will there be lawsuits form other companies because this has to be led to competitive bidding? Musk will muzzle them all, he has more conflicts than the Grifter in Chief.

I saw a comment elsewhere that remarked (probably in jest) armoring them would be good to contain the damage internally when they explode.

In the era of trump some judges still have ethics.

FEDERAL JUDGES QUIT RATHER THAN OBEY TRUMP ADMIN.

Quote:
If no lawyer with earshot of the president is willing to give him that advice then I expect that you will eventually find someone who is enough of a fool or enough of a coward to file your motion. But it was never going to be me.
The motion in question was to dismiss the indictment against Adams without prejudice if he was willing to go along with trump's immigration plans. Quid pro quo I think it's called.

Join me in wondering why the MSM isn't covering this?

Latest on the Trump-Musk Federal Worker efficiency plan.

So with the 30 day order for all Federal workers to return to office, specifically in DC there is no office space, desks or workplaces with internet. Worse yet, there are no parking spaces. About 20% of Federal workers are based in the DC area.

As usual when there is a problem to solve, the usual management technique is to throw money at it and that is exactly what is going on.

Quote:
An official in the General Services Administration, which manages federal real estate, said workers there were told Thursday that the agency has approval to spend funds on new leases and upgrades to existing facilities to support the return to in-person work.

“Anything return-to-office-related is exempt from a limit they currently have where if something is above $100,000 you have to get approval,” said the official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity for fear of job retaliation.
And here we were told that DOGE is all about saving money.

DOGE is about 3 things - Performative assholery, Trump's retribution against those he perceived did him wrong, and gutting any regulatory agencies that may inconvenience Musk from realizing his wet dreams.

Like his buddy Trump, Musk has also been exacting revenge on Federal agencies who have investigated his businesses and perhaps IRS is on the top of his list. Yet he has sucked on the Federal teats and his companies could not have initially survived without their largess.

tRump quotes Napoleon.

Trump suggests he’s above the law with ominous Napoleon quote

He's not suggesting, he's saying the quiet part loud and clear.

He, in his mind, is the "he who is saving the country". He has millions of followers whom he has convinced of this as well. The constitutional crisis is here. What's next is the civil war he will incite if there are any means taken to stop him.
