Basically, the Trump admin is telling the Europeans that Biden has already delivered Europe to Ted Cruz, the energy Czar, and that the US has no intention of investing much more capital on the Ukraine Project: if Europe wants to continue with the Project then it Europe would have to foot the bill.

It looks like Project Ukraine is dead.

Putin is in a subservient position. The guy who everyone is scared of is Xi.
Xi has almost everything under lock.
For example while the US was involved in countless misadventures Xi took over Africa without firing a shot.

Ukraine is not strategically important...Poland and Romania
already fulfill such roll in that geographical area.

US is belatedly trying to take back US from China.
