How does the US benefit from Gaza reconstruction?

If USAID is to be shuttered and defunded, how do you fund Gaza reconstruction with the America First and only America edict?

Will the congress or what goes for that cowardly group going to authorize the funding or is this private enterprise?

Gaza strip is 2.2 million acres, so what will the land price be per acre and more importantly who will get the money, if they ever do?

We should indeed help pay for reconstruction. The question is, however, who should live there afterwards. Fat Donnie, an outspoken opponent of accepting political refugees, wants Arab countries to accept 2 million refugees.

A federal judge, citing a risk of “irreparable harm,” has temporarily restricted Elon Musk’s government efficiency team from accessing a critical Treasury Department payment system.

Saturday’s order came on the heels of another court ruling temporarily blocking the administration’s attempts to dismantle the US Agency for International Development.

And a federal judge paused a Thursday deadline for the administration’s so-called buyout offer to federal employees while more proceedings on the program’s legality played out. That followed earlier federal court rulings halting a sweeping federal spending freeze.

I am sure there are other lawsuits floating around but these four were cited in the linked article. These are all temporary orders and the cases are yet to be heard and all of them will wind up with the Scotus unless Trusk duo cave.

And if and when these are heard by the Scotus, will they side with Trump giving him even more unchecked power? A lot of commentators are fearful that this is indeed what will happen and at this point, only the Congress can stop him. Good luck with that.

Now Trump is openly flouting racism but he has been rebuffed for his efforts.

Trump says some white South Africans are oppressed and could be resettled in the US. They say no thanks

The plan was detailed in an executive order Trump signed Friday that stopped all aid and financial assistance to South Africa as punishment for what the Trump administration said were “rights violations” by the government against some of its white citizens.

The Trump administration accused the South African government of allowing violent attacks on white Afrikaner farmers and introducing a land expropriation law that enables it to “seize ethnic minority Afrikaners’ agricultural property without compensation.”

The South African government has denied there are any concerted attacks on white farmers and has said that Trump’s description of the new land law is full of misinformation and distortions.

On Saturday, two of the most prominent groups representing Afrikaners said they would not be taking up Trump’s offer of resettlement in the U.S.

“Our members work here, and want to stay here, and they are going to stay here,” said Dirk Hermann, chief executive of the Afrikaner trade union Solidarity, which says it represents around 2 million people. “We are committed to build a future here. We are not going anywhere.”
