Maybe they are the 7% not accounted for in the 93% that Rajoo cited?

Visa denials?
I would rather focus on the money we save and be freed from MAGA mania and the Catholic Court of America.

Trump says he will quickly approve power plants for AI.
https://www.cnbc.com/2025/01/23/trum...claration.html
quote:
President Donald Trump said Thursday he will expedite the construction of power plants for artificial intelligence through an emergency declaration, as the U.S. races against China for dominance in the industry.
“We’re going to build electric generating facilities. I’m going to get the approval under emergency declaration. I can get the approvals done myself without having to go through years of waiting,” Trump said in a virtual address to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

Well it looks like the Tech Bros are well connected.

In Trump’s economic vision, everybody’s on their own

The Libertarians want to take the country WAY back to the time of McKinley, when the Robber Barrons ruled. Thankfully, people got sick of a government that did nothing, and voted in Trust-buster Teddy R. His supporters will be sick of the First Felon soon enough, one would hope, and dump him, assuming he hasn't become king.

Behind the scenes no doubt there are those who want to make it near impossible to get him out of the WH. I think the only way we will be rid of him is a visit from the grim reaper.

Musk with the offer for early retirement for Federal employees has no left doubt who is running the show and its not the Felon.
Musk team’s push to gut federal workforce bypassed key Trump officials
Quote:
|
Since Trump took office, Musk has moved quickly to exert control over the Office of Personnel Management, the small independent agency that acts as a kind of human resources department for the federal government, issuing policy for agencies to implement. Musk personally visited the OPM’s offices Friday, and several of his longtime surrogates — including Anthony Armstrong, who helped Musk buy Twitter; Brian Bjelde, who ran human resources for Musk’s firm SpaceX; and Amanda Scales, who worked at Musk’s artificial intelligence firm, xAI — have been installed in senior leadership roles at its offices in downtown Washington, the people said.
|
Quote:
In addition to the personnel office, Musk allies are now running the U.S. Digital Service, a White House office that a Trump executive order renamed the U.S. DOGE Service. Musk’s lieutenants have been interviewing the existing staff of that agency, asking detailed questions about their operations and expertise, said two other people who also spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe private conversations. One area of focus, according to another person familiar with the talks: gauging workers’ views on DOGE, questions that have raised concerns of a loyalty test.
The new leaders also have brought a heavy focus on engineering, keeping some workers long after their interviews to perform coding exercises, the person said.
|
That is blatant recruiting on the side.
Quote:
|
Meanwhile, at least one of Musk’s private business associates has joined the General Services Administration, which oversees federal buildings. The new director of Technology Transformation Services — a part of the GSA responsible for enabling access to government services — worked for eight years at Tesla, Musk’s electric car company. Workers in that division have been told they need to share some of their recent work, the person said, which some interpreted to mean their computer code. (Musk’s team made similar requests of staff after taking over Twitter, now called X.) The technology workers were expected to sit this week for one-on-one discussions mirroring those at the U.S. DOGE Service. (The New York Times also reported Wednesday on some of the personnel involved and that the GSA has emerged as Musk’s likely next target.)

And he wants to steal code.

Regional jet and helicopter collision in DC yesterday. It boggles one mind as to how this could have ever happened in one of the tightest controlled air spaces in the US, but our favorite Felon found it upon himself to blame this on the DEI hiring by the FAA, although as it happens, there was no FAA head till this morning.
Quote:
At a White House news conference , Trump said the there were no survivors, that the cause of the collision wasn’t clear, and that the miliary and National Transportation Safety Board were investigating. Without evidence, he blamed air traffic controllers, the helicopter pilots and Democratic policies at federal agencies.
“We’ll find out how this disaster occurred and will ensure that nothing like this ever happens again,” he said.
Trump criticized diversity hiring efforts at the FAA, though when pressed about why, he acknowledged there was no evidence that those efforts could be blamed for the collision.
“It just could have been,” he said.

And here is more and looks like he is deflecting the blame. Seems like no head of the FAA and no aviation safety committee either.
Trump Gutted Key Aviation Safety Committee Before D.C. Plane Crash
Quote:
|
Last week, just days after his inauguration, Donald Trump eliminated the membership of a key committee that handles aviation security. And on Wednesday night, a passenger plane collided with a military helicopter in the Washington, D.C., area.

Having worked for the Major Carrier involved and flown into and out of DC many times.
It long ago should of been closed down due to restricted fight path and traffic concerns.
Left open IMHO to allow our elected officials easy access to the Capital.
To early to know in any way what the underlying cause or causes are to be. Confusion over taxed system human error ......
