This country elected a convicted felon for president, yet a lot of states restrict a felon from voting. How ironic is that? Most felons will find it impossible to find an employer willing to hire them but they will qualify for CEO positions?
Yet this felon got elected purportedly for his agenda, aka Project 2025 which was there for anyone to read. More than the Kool-Aid, this is insanity.

The Trump economic plan simplified, catch phrase is America First beginning with renaming Gulf of Mexico to Gulf of America.
Lower Housing Cost: Shock and awe' deportations which will leave a lot of apartments vacant.
Lower Energy Cost: "Drill baby Drill", remove any and every environmental safeguards leading to "Frack baby Frack".
They are very fuzzy on the food prices and its is not too difficult to figure out why because the gouging is done by the same America First Investment Fund owners (hint: same people are keeping the rents high by buying up every rental property they can lay their hands on).
Now for the predicted reality:
The undocumented do not rent their apartments owned by investment banks, so the rents will stay high. A studio apartment in Santa Clara across the street from my company begins at $3,200.00 per month. Adjacent to this HUGE complex is ByteDance, Roku among other lesser known companies.
Energy? Increasing production for oil takes years to come to fruition, so this is mostly noise. We have been drilling oil at the highest levels during the Biden administration yet gasoline prices have remained high. ($4.75 for regular at a Chevron Station in Fremont CA, $3.69 at Costco Pleasanton CA where I filled up). Its not the cost but gouging in plain sight.
As for food, most workers are undocumented immigrants. Send them home and there goes our food supply and eggs will cost $25/dozen and all of us may have to install chicken coops in our backyards.
Then here come the tariffs which will fund the guaranteed tax cuts for the rich.
So anyone expect that our living costs will actually come down under Felon 47?

Felon trump wants to throw the nation into chaos while telling his willfully ignorant followers that it's someone elses fault and he's the one to fix it while he backdoors us into Project 2025.

Migrants allowed into the U.S. temporarily under certain Biden administration programs can be quickly expelled, according to a memo sent by the Trump administration's acting secretary of homeland security.

What does not make sense is that we sorely need their productive services while they pay taxes and they are legal. But of course easy picking for shock and awe brigade which the likes of Miller, Bannon had promised.

“I will reinstate any service members who were unjustly expelled from our military for objecting to the COVID vaccine mandate with full back pay,” Trump said. “And I will sign an order to stop our warriors from being subjected to radical political theories and social experiments while on duty.”

Wait, what?!? I thought they were gonna expell illegal immigrants. I guess migrants are easy pickins since they'd have to go out and find the illegal ones and that wouldn't give them the mass roundups that play on the evening news.

Maggers don't care because you know, they're all Mexican cartel gang members anyhow.

Trump has already violated the constitution, he should be removed.

Vox piece has some choice words on the idea that Musk should be let off the hook for his 'inadvertent gesture:'
https://www.vox.com/politics/396535/...p-inauguration
Quote:
At moments like these, collectively insisting on standards is all the more important. One of those standards is that you should not be able to get away with performing a Nazi gesture, intentionally or not, without apologizing like you mean it. Another is that someone with Musk’s record of promoting far-right ideas and approvingly conversing with neo-Nazis should never have been on the inaugural stage to begin with. This is one of the bulwarks we have, as a society, to prevent honest-to-goodness Nazism from reentering the zone of political acceptability.
Yet Musk and Trump have made blurring those moral lines part of their life’s work. I fear we are all about to suffer the consequences — to live in a world where it becomes even more acceptable to openly perform nastiness and extremism. We may enter the world prophesied by philosopher Richard Rorty in 1998, where a far-right backlash brings “all the sadism” we once considered “unacceptable” in public life “flooding back.”
If that indeed comes to pass, the future of American politics is one in which Musk’s ugly display on Monday ends up looking like a dance recital.
