The Hills Are Filled With Fire - Nod To LA Woman / The Doors

So far, my brother's place is still standing in Sierra Madre. Pacific Palisades and Malibu look like a war zone. Orange county where we live has been spared and the winds are dying down a bit.

Of course, Trump and his cronies are whooping it up trying to score political points.

Single digit humidity with 80 - 100 mph winds make fighting these unique firestorms extremely difficult.

Glad to hear that Bob.

Things have changed a lot in the relatively short time since I lived in SoCal. My ex & her husband still live in OC.

Another who is watching the news and worried about the ongoing calamity and lives effected forever.
Good to hear from you all of those now effected and hoping for the fires to end soon.

My wife's cousin's house in Pacific Palisades burned to the ground yesterday.

What does one even do in that situation? Mind boggling...

To a point, you're close to right because a lot of the fault lies with the big money (oil and other) behind Trump. You know, the guys who's line for decades has been "global warming hoax," but who suddenly want Canada and Greenland for some reason?
