As noted above by Chicks,
"U.S. stock futures dropped sharply on Sunday evening as markets continued to signal a sell-off in the wake of President Trump’s massive reciprocal tariffs on trading partners.

Dow Jones Industrial Average futures were down more than 1,700 points on Sunday evening at 6 p.m., pointing to what could be a disastrous day on Wall Street when markets open Monday morning at 9:30 a.m." From those hippies at 'The Hill'.

Lawmakers may test Trump on tariffs this week as fears of a GOP election 'decimation' grow

The one and only thing Reupbes care about is being re-elected. They have zero principles, clearly.

Term limits would solve this problem.

Sure, and we'll get them maybe when we get a new Constitution, which will be when we split this county apart.

A new Constitution? We don't need to throw out the baby with the bathwater. An amendment (albeit virtually impossible) would also do it. We just need a Congress that would finally consider what's good for the country rather than seeing their positions as lifetime appointments.

I know it wont happen in my lifetime.

I see a schism, and a new constitution for the blue States, as the least impossible way to this Improvement and other good things. Under the old constitution, the red States will block all constructive amendments.
