Mind you, I have no idea of what JD actually wants, other than all he can get....

I did not mean to imply that JD Vance is a "war monger".
In the event (and this is pure speculation) President Trump was assassinated, JD Vance would / may be more inclined to become a 'Yes Man' to the following people.
Quote Finnbow, regarding President Trump
"His Chief of Staff and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, both highly educated men, believe him to be a Fascist. One of the world's leading authorities on Fascism, Robert Paxton, resisted calling Trump a Fascist, but changed his tune in light of Trump's 2024 campaign (as have other acknowledged experts in the field (Timothy Snyder, Ruth Ben-Ghiat, Anne Applebaum))."
General Milley wanted to proceed with a 'boots on the ground' invasion of Iran 5 years ago. Trump disregarded his intent, stuff the memorandum into a big stack of papers.

Very interesting.
Back to the State Department for comment.
Thank you Dondie for not making me hit a paywall, unlike certain forum members.

Is that a small book ?
I have The 9/11 Commission Report, it's like the sequel to the Warren Commission bullshit. Read half of it.
Pinning the Viet Nam war on JFK is silly. Way silly, coming from a 'deep state man'.
You've profiled me as being stupid. Keep profiling...facts only.

Correct, China's economy is really crap, if we ignore the propaganda.

Nope, it's quite a tome and the definitive book on America's involvement in Vietnam. And no, pinning Vietnam on JFK is not silly at all. He and his national security team are damn near singularly responsible. If you don't want to read the whole thing, read the first several hundred pages and you'll understand why it's pretty much indisputable.
It is almost certainly available at your public library or on Amazon.

Ordered it from your link.
You're not going to like my review, however.
If JFK had initiated a full-scale nuclear attack on the Soviets during the Cuban Missile Crisis, none of us would be alive. And yes, one military advisor was strongly suggesting it. You'll say that didn't happen.
Weak on communism ? Because he didn't allowed the CIA to blow up an airliner full of US citizens in a Red Flag operation? They were going to frame Castro by deceiving the USA public.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Northwoods
He allowed them to proceed with the Bay of Pigs invasion, instead, but he pulled the plug when that spiraled out of control.
