If anyone wants a good in-depth look at his ideology and his ideological mentors, here's a good article. Pretty frightening shit. They make no bones about the fact that they're convinced that liberal democracy is a spent force that needs to be saved by a dictator. Curtis Yarvin, one of Vance's mentors, said "If Americans want to change their government, they're going to have to get over their dictator phobia."

I'm thinking that's why he changed stripes and boarded the tRump train. Whether by criminal conviction or natural causes I think he sees it a shortcut to the oval office. That's a worse thought than Done being there again. I've seen it suggested (maybe here?) that a vote for tRump for "that office" is a vote for Vance for "that office".
