Great Article. Thanks.
All smoke and mirrors, reneged on agreements ($), put in cheap appliances, poor construction, and on and on and on.
What a savy business man he is - NOT

Well that is in the past and currently selling at just over $15.00.
Now how can we get Trump to begin cashing out?

DJT stock was down to $12:15 and now at $12.31.
Wonder if there will be support below $10 and only due to upcoming elections. If the stock tanks before then, Trump could be induced to Truth non-stop with his lies and belligerence. Probably blame the Dems for not buying DJT stocks....................

Personally, I think X stopping the act of cancelling conservative members and posts eliminated the need for Truth social. I see Truth Social stock a little bit like Bitcoin. i.e. it really has no intrinsic value, but people still value it as some sort of investment, solely based on faith in its imaginary value. Except it's a lot easier to launder drug money with Bitcoin.

Labelling Trump’s lies as ‘disputed’ on X makes supporters believe them more, study finds

Yes, there are some even in this very thread who fervently believe every one of the Orange Buffoon's many lies. Sad.

Well sure. It's long been understood that challenging a person's cultural beliefs makes them feel motivated to defend them. 'Disputed" is a challenge.

They weren't "cancelling" conservatives, per se. They were moderating posts that contained misinformation/disinformation about the election and COVID. It just so happens that conservatives rely so heavily on disinformation.

Claiming cancellation is one way to avoid telling the truth.
You correct me with facts and I respond by claiming that you are impinging on my First Amendment rights. Short term gain for a long term disaster.

Exactly. And please define "misinformation" and "disinformation" and who gets to decide when it occurs.

I don't know what country you live in, honestly, but I live in the US and we have a constitution that protects, literally, "misinformation" and "disinformation", and even lying. It's because it's impossible to trust anyone to enforce it in an unbiased way. The soviets made a mockery out of the concept.

Of course, the constitution restrains the government, not private enterprises.

The definitions are widely available. Look them up yourself. Google is your friend.

As for disinformation, Dezinformatsiya has long been a feature of Soviet/Russian propaganda and they coined the term in the 1920's. And nowadays, we have people like Donald Trump, Tucker Carlson, Elon Musk, and networks like Fox News, NewsMax and OANN spewing it regularly.
