A local(?) "non-affiliated group" is running misleading ads against Angela Alsobrooks who is running against Larry Hogan for a Senate seat here. Not surprising considering she's leading him in the polls currently. Hogan, by most, was an OK governor but most Marylanders (I hope) recognize that Democrats must keep the Senate.

Alsobrooks now has a double-digit lead. Her current tax troubles related to home ownership in DC and MD don't seem to have had any impact.

I got a text message from the same "group" this morning. Oh well, time to try something else. Hogan has proved himself to be a true Republican. He said he wasn't in favor of impeaching tRump and he repeated the Republican lie of "Democrat open borders".

Hogan's a decent enough guy and the GOP could use hundreds more like him, Romney and Liz Cheney. That said, he has a tough path in Maryland. Too liberal for Republicans and too conservative for Democrats (maybe that's why I liked him). That said, despite her faults, I'll vote for Alsobrooks. The GOP needs to be severely punished for enabling Trump over the past 8 years.
