I take the CNN story as a good thing regarding those 4 who stepped down, they didn't want to be associated with a horrible person such as Robinson. To me, it shows personal integrity on those four people's part, VS compromising their principles to go along for the ride with a man of poor character.

Everyone in North Carolina, including his campaign staff, already knew Robinson was a scumbag. MAGAWorld, by virtue of its continued support of Trump, has shown it doesn't care about character. They quit because they now had an excuse to bail from a losing campaign.

The GOP has transitioned from a conservative party to a movement of cranks, lunatics, trolls, and jackasses. Robinson went viral by ranting at a city council meeting and the MAGA movement helped make him Lt. Governor. The GOP is now the comments section of Breitbart come to life.
