PS, just so everybody knows;

I do not hate Republicans, I hate the orange pretender who has hijacked the Republican party. As you likely know, I'm from Massachusetts and I had much respect for both Mitt Romney and Charlie Baker as our Republican Governors, because they were the kinds of Republicans who DID "reach across the isle" and bargain with the Democratic majority here to get things done. Yeah, I know, the dyed in the wool MAGA Trumpies would be screaming RINOS!!!!! at me if they could, but when you have what's essentially a two party system nothing lasting gets accomplished by the extremes of either party, and right now I see the GOP as being led (more like being dragged around by the hair) by the most far right extremists I've ever seen, while the Dems DO seem to be willing to make compromises(to wit Kamala's agreement that our immigration system IS broken and needs revisions).

So, as a true Independent, my choices are;

A moderate Democrat, willing to reach across the isle

Or

A wannabe dictator who runs scared from a candidate who threatens his far FAR right ideology

Perhaps the Republicans will wise up by 2028 and pick someone far more palatable to the average independent, such as myself.

If 4 years from now still reflects today's mess the GOP has become, odds ain't gonna be in their favor then, either.....

The best chance at a Bipartisan Coalition government will be Harris.

Hands down the Dems will be the ones to save our Country as we know it.

Exactly, and well said. The Lady has already said she will appoint a Republican to her cabinet. That, to me, speaks volumes of someone whose willing to seek middle ground

I'm sure you'll get your chance eventually.

No need to get knots in your shorts; my only point was that a well-timed zinger in a debate does not guarantee a win for your team in November.
