How? The 22nd Amendment places a limit of 8 years and Obama has had his 8 years. Or is there a catch here I am missing.

Obama was to throw his hat in the ring, the ape shit MAGAts will go running to the SOTUS so fast and the loyal six will deep six his candidacy in very short order. This late in the game, it will be Kamala Harris at the top of the ticket unless there is a leadership crisis at the DNC convention and nominations are thrown open. But the war chest raised by Biden & Harris will be inaccessible. The DNC wanted to elect Biden as their nominee even before the convention, like next week to ward of the nay sayers.

Biden should have kept his word to serve only one term and he would have gone out like a hero especially after the amazing success he had as POTUS. Now he will be going out as a self centered prick.

The Obama loophole is a fantasy. He is limited to two terms or elected twice.

22nd Amendment says, “No person shall be elected to the office of the president more than twice.”

But the fantasy arises by Obama being chosen by Biden as his VP displacing Kamala Harris and then Biden resigns and Obama becomes POTUS. No can do because from the 12th Amendment, "[N]o person constitutionally ineligible to the office of president shall be eligible to that of vice president of the United States."

Be it Biden or whoever getting elected the Dems would need to control both houses of Congress to put a stop to the tRumplican's endless "investigations". The bonus of that would be booting the current GOP loudmouths and rabble-rousers booted from whatever committees they currently sit on. let 'em flap their yaps out on the Capitol steps to whoever wants to listen to them.
