Agreed and this is what brainwashing does and most religions effectively brainwash people all the time. And some can be radicalized, especially by a violent religion like Islam and they not only willingly don suicide vests, but truly believe that they then go to heaven, virgins awaiting their arrival.......after maiming and killing several hundred people. Defies the human definition of what heaven!
