And for the record, lots of Democrats have spoken out against her. Me? I don't give a shit one way or the other what they do in NM, although I find open-carry mostly a lame attempt by insecure dickweeds to intimidate others (and I've been a gun owner, sports shooter and hunter for over 50 years).

Do I have to join a militia first before I buy a gun and open carry?
Btw, only seen once person carrying a gun as a side arm in Reno. He is a scrawny guy who works at my mechanic shop, mans the front desk and happens to be the son-in-law of the owner, who is one heck of a mechanic. And he does look silly with a gun strapped to his leg in a customer oriented business.

What is /isn't my business isn't up to you to determine. The simple fact remains that those are constitutional rights that existed in NM. Just because those rights have been abridged in other states is irrelevant, just like your irrelevant argument.

Why don't you tell those lots of Democrats that it's none of their F'ing business, then?

He might look silly to you, but I'm willing to bet no robberies of the business have occurred while he's manning the front desk.

The real answer, of course, is to get unbiased judges into SCOTUS, who won't grotesquely misinterpret an amendment about a "well-regulated militia". It will take a while, but the electorate is, thankfully, changing for the better.

My "stupid meaningless response" helped reveal your position on this issue. You're in favor of what the governor did. You're apparently so far left as to be off the map in this issue that a Democrat AG in NM doesn't agree with your view. Even an "unbiased" Joe Biden-appointed judge saw fit to issue a stay of her order.
You whine about the horrors of autocracy, but there you are supporting the actions of an autocratic governor. Congrats!

Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. IOW, no robberies could have also occurred while he was unarmed.

Your home state has a number of exceptions to open-carry permissibility and makes it a felony to conceal-carry without a government-issued permit. Such restrictions highlight my point that states are allowed to have reasonable regulation of guns. The courts will decide if the NM actions were reasonable.
What is not reasonable is for a party to support or defend a Presidential effort to steal an election, something you tried to equivocate on by bringing up this NM kerfuffle.

As usual this guy (who insists he doesn't defend tRump) is our pipeline to Reich-wing media talking points. Or as I like to call it "tRump's Fairy Tales". They really don't want the cult paying attention to facts or evidence.

He's just for whatever he thinks will make us react. If we all decided Trump should walk, he'd tell us we're insane because any decent person knows he should be locked up.

You sure like to make incorrect and unfounded assumptions. Just like your heroes Gym Jordan, James Comer and your collective hero, the Orange Buffoon. Congrats!
Your every post proves your ignorance and stupidity, every time.

That wasn't the point I was making, so you can argue with yourself all you want.
