I would not call President a bum, not now not ever.

He has served in Congress for decades and then President Obama's VP and now President. If any of his policies bother you, by all means. But I do resent anyone calling him a bum even after making allowances to your 1A rights.

He has done an exceptional job leading the country under the circumstances with a Catholic SCOTUS, a deadlocked Senate and a totally dysfunctional House.

Then why don't you write in whom you want like I did and accept the push back as an idiotic idea that has little to no merit. If the write-ins are not allowed in nine states, then at best your write-in vote counts as 0.8, not 1 vote.

Dude, you need to get educated. The write-in ballot option is available to voters in forty-one states. Those states account for 484 of the total 538 electoral college votes. A candidate for US President must receive at least 270 electoral college votes in order to be elected. A write-in candidate chosen by the American voters, rather than by a political party, is therefore capable of being elected President.
