I believe there is civil legal recourse when one feels they have been the target of hate speech. Seems to me the dock manager was the victim of a violet racist atttack. Which is also civilly actionable. E. Jean carroll sued Trump for sexual assault...and won.

Let's not forget this when we are contemplating the possibility of a conviction in the cases where he has already been indicted.
