WTF DeJoy? Then what are you good for???

Since your promise to clean up US Postal Service debt over the next 10 years has fallen flat on it's face, and now you're telling us that it's no longer safe to use the US Postal service to deliver checks to pay our bills...what the fuck are you good for? So far you're good for slower delivery if it gets there at all, increased damage to mail done by the Postal Service system, big executive Postal Service bonuses for disintegrating service, goddamn misconduct with alt-right impediments to the delivery of mail-in voter ballots, and your $306,000/year paycheck.

The failure to get rid of this MAGA asshole is one of my prime complaints with Joe Biden. It can be done, Joe...get it done.

I have often wondered if he is still around to drive USPS into privatizing?

He should of been gone within six months of Joe being sworn into office.

Biden has no direct control over the hiring and firing of the Postmaster General of the US. This hiring and firing is done by the Postal Service Board of Governors. Nine people sit on this board, the Postmaster General being one of them. Politically there can only be a 5 to 4 party majority among the Board of Governors. I'm not sure what that political mix is right now, although the President names the Board members and he has installed a new Deputy Postmaster, who also sits on the Board, since he became President. I'm pretty sure that Biden is concerned about accusations from Republicans of manipulating the Board if he were to place new Board members that would give him a new Postmaster General. But the country is already split ideologically down the middle, so why not get rid of this asshole? It's not like the Republicans have held back from partisan behavior in the slightest.

Biden appointed a new member at the beginning of his administration. IIRC giving him on paper the majority.

Here's some information on why it hasnt happened.

Biden Urged to Take Steps to Finally Get Rid of DeJoy as He Plows Ahead With Job Cuts

It's all understandable, but in light of how Trump operated while in office...I dont think Biden is trying hard enough. We all know that if Trump was unhappy with the Postmaster General, one way or another the Postmaster General would be gone.
