And if you took the time to read it, you'd know it's BS. Moreover, the WSJ willingly offering its pages to a prebuttal of an article in another publication that had offered Alito an opportunity to comment is pretty low journalistic ethics. Alito and the WSJ did themselves no favors with this silly defensive charade.

My understanding is that the total cost of a round trip using this particular equipment from DC to wherever the fishing grounds are up in Alaska works out to about $100,000 per seat. I'm pretty sure it's a violation of SCOTUS Justice rules to accept any such "gifts." Particularly from anyone who has a case pending or has already had a case reviewed by the SCOTUS.
