Rest In Peace Daniel Ellsberg - Pentagon Papers

A hero to most of my generation of Boomers. He divulged the notorious Pentagon Papers detailing all the rotten shit the military was up to in SE Asia.

Rest in peace and condolences to his family. He saved alot of us from the meatgrinder that was Vietnam. Thank you, sir.

One of this country's great heroes. Ellsberg would have certainly gone to federal prison for a long time, if treasonous Nixon's idiotic plumbers hadn't been caught breaking into the office of Elllsberg's psychiatrist.

I also liked Ellsberg's evaluation of Snowden, "he was the only one at the NSA who was doing his fucking job"

A hero indeed.

As an insider Daniel Ellsberg was aware of the travesty that was the war in Vietnam, and he did something about it.
