Me and blondie quit on the same day 49 years ago after being smokers for a decade or so. We quit early enough to be pushing 80 now and still free of the consequences...which killed both of our mothers, her mom way too young.
We also quit smoking weed and sobered up from all the other shit we were using on the same day. Staying off the cigarettes was the most difficult one.
