139 lies in 61 minutes

How Many Lies

That's more than two lies per minute. This is the guy whell thinks should be given a pass because he's the Republican front runner.
Did anyone not in the MAGA clan think Dotard would pass up a chance to spew lies to friendly, largely MAGA audience on prime time TV? It's true that presidential candidates should be given airtime. The exception to that is when they use the time to push the same lies that helped foment an insurrection and the only attempt to stop an orderly transition of power in our nation's history. Of course if you've been so radicalized as to believe we're so messed up because of the Dems that TFG seems to be the solution to our problems, none of that matters.

CHICKENSHIT

Trump is a chickenshit, he cancelled his rally in Iowa yesterday because he was afraid his crowd will be smaller than the one for DeSantis in a separate town/location. So Trump Sharpied in a Toronado to hit De Moines, IA to give him an excuse to cancel. Chickenshit.

Quote:
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis met with Iowa voters in Des Moines after former President Donald Trump canceled his event there, sparking debate about the reason for Trump's change of plans.

After a packed day of events in Sioux Center and Cedar Rapids, DeSantis made a surprise trip to Des Moines to talk to voters at Jethro’s BBQ Southside, just minutes from where Trump cited the potential for severe weather in canceling his planned Des Moines rally.

DeSantis, who has not yet announced a bid for president and has avoided directly addressing the former president, appeared to take a jab at Trump while in Des Moines, remarking that it was a "beautiful night."

Wonder what the line is on Trump picking DeSantis for VP?

Or DeSantis promises Trump he will walk away from all his legal issues via a pardon if he steps out?

We have a long road ahead till election day...

The Dems better be ready with a plan B candidate.

I agree with everything you say.

Trump exiting for DeSantis for a pardon is the most intriguing, but not a good bet for Trump. That promise alone may keep from winning.

Trump selecting DeSantis is the most logical, but Trump is damaged goods and more to follow. Not a good bet for DeSantis to be associated with Trump.

As for a Plan B candidate, reminds me of the 2016 debacle. Not comparing Biden to Hillary, but his age related issues will be easy fodder for the GOP.

Replace age with skin color or religion and it would rightly be called discrimination. Ageism IS discrimination. Repubs started this crap, but I'm really pissed off to see Dems repeating this crap.

DeSantis could hedge his bet with tRump as VP. tRump gets (Heaven forbid) elected or the Repubs steal it. Trump then gets booted via a felony conviction. DeSantis takes over the helm. Sounds crazy but never choose a second that's hungrier than you are.

Trump would never pick DeSantis as a running mate. DeSantis might steal too much if the limelight and Trumps ego could never handle that.

Licht confirms himself as a ratings whore...

Quote:
"Have fun.”

Those were Chris Licht’s last words to Donald Trump before the CNN/MAGA propaganda event in New Hampshire.

Apparently Trump was in a beneficent mood, and promised Licht there would be a boost of ratings for CNN.
Chris Licht wants to be the next American billionaire and he doesn’t care if he has to destroy our democratic republic to do it.

The fact that an executive of cable news programming wants favorable ratings is a surprise to you?

For context, when Licht took the reigns after Zucker left, CNN's ratings were tanking in a major way:

Now, a review of ratings data compiled by Nielsen shows the internal chaos at the network is mirrored by deep declines in viewership across all day parts—total day and prime time. Through February 15, CNN’s average prime-time audience among viewers 25-54—the key demographic valued by advertisers—was just 126,000, representing a 69% drop from the same period one year ago. Among total viewers, the average audience was 534,000, a decline of 68% from 2021.

If you don't think Licht's mandate when he was hired was to stabilize and then increase ratings, you're delusional.

You don't seem to understand that chasing ratings without regard to the veracity of what is presented damages journalistic ethics. Just look at the Fox/Dominion scandal. Their $3/4 billion settlement resulted from chasing ratings by deliberately presenting false information.
