BTW, the stats came from Clay Sexton and Buck Travis. Buck was a CIA analyst so I don't see any reason to doubt his numbers. Sort of like Elon Musk changing the percent of CPR government funding from 70% to 69% because the Canadians denied it was accurate.

Anyhow the vast majority like 90% of all violent crime is committed by males from 18 to 40 years old. Black population is maybe 10 or 12%. So, the percent population of black males between 18 and 40 is maybe 3% of the total population. Yet , they commit 50% of the murders almost exclusively against other blacks. Mostly in inner cities. Many child innocent bystanders and absolutely devastated black mothers.

So, ignore it, call it racist, quibble over the exact numbers. Go watch MSNBC. Whatever comforts you.

All transfers of firearms to be tracked and all owners to have background checks periodically.

Should the Dems get control of all three branches of government that's what they should aim for. Of course the gun lobby, the NRA and their government representatives will fight it tooth and nail. That's another insurrection in the making right there.

I don't think such feelings are very significant. I don't think they vindicate my general racist point of view, so I don't think it counts for big points to cite them in a post.

I'm pretty sure I have some ideas about where those feelings come from that you do not share. So I find different meanings in them than you do.

My closest neighbors growing up were black. Still would be if others had not built between us. My mother was a cook at Monticello High School as it was back then. We had to drive by Browns Summit High school which was the black school. Sort of weird when you think about it.
She picked up the black kids and we dropped them off at the black school on the way.
We have been friends for sixty some years.

You should be asking the question, why are crime rates high in the inner cities with predominantly black populations?
