I believe that this is a case though motivated from fear of reacting rather than responding. Response would have been, "go away, I have a gun" or "I have called the cops". Of course, I do not know the circumstances or the neighborhood. But here is a case where its obvious a person who is not well trained (militia anyone) should not own a gun.

In the case of the home owner shooting a young woman in he car who was lost and drove up to his house is strictly an act of belligerence. He lived on a 40 acre wooded property with a driveway that perhaps stretched a few hundred yards. Why didn't he simply put a gate to prevent cars driving up to his house?

Exactly. My first thought was that old man sits around the house, glued to the Fox news network. Then his grandson came out and verified it.

That's what I'm railing about; the fear manufacturers.

It is not the GOP.

Who controls the media ? It is a 'party' of people, but they don't identify themsleves. It's an intelligencia / propanganda group.

Different media, different people. There is no "the media."

Propaganda, like everything else in the world of mankind, happens on a continuim. If we want to estimate the balance, we can. If we want to measure the balance, we can try. It's all opinion either way, so here's my opinion. The majority...the vast majority of the propaganda comes from the right end of the contonuim.

The media. It's were all modern wars begin.

I have an opinion on who runs Google, the wikis, YouTube. Highly contested, not just for the money, but social / political influence as well.

I agree. At least in the CONUS, that is. But it's not the GOP. It's the _ _ _.
