You forgot the part about it all being a deep state plot to take out the leading 2024 presidential candidate.

It cracks me up that the GOP is calling it a political prosecution. Trump himself made it so by committing political crimes (campaign finance crimes to help his presidential bid by concealing his extramarital affairs after the pussy-grabbing incident). Similarly, he's calling the Willis investigation in GA political and the J6 Special Counsel investigation political when they're probing acts of election fraud.

The problem with today's Republican politicians is that there are only two types:

1. Full bore anti-democracy cult members or...
2 Looking the other way, as a pathetic means of temporary survival.

Question Played By A Guy Named Alvin?

The indictment has been framed as a prosecution on a hush money payment and the Manhattan DA hasn't said anything one way or the other. The firestorm of support by the Reich-wingers for TFG was probably predictable. There have been all sorts of excuses on why this is what they like to call a nothingburger. A great hew and cry has gone up across the nation protesting and indictment of TFG for such a thing. Without knowing any actual charges in the indictment Donny's defenders may have stepped in it. On Tuesday when the indictment is unsealed and the charges revealed what will they be saying then? My guess is the outlandish, unthinkable, unpresidented indictment of a completely innocent, front running (by all the polls) presidential candidate former president. It's much easier than refuting the individual charges and helps keep the cult's attention off of them.

Here is my guess. Most of the MAGAts do not read or depend on social media of their choosing for information. And I suspect that the fascist media will cherry pick one or two of the indictments and challenge it on whatever grounds that sells. Pretty soon none in his cult would even know what Trump was indicted for but they will be certain that the charges were fake. Remember these are the same folks who do not believe Obama was born in the US even after shown his birth certificate.

MAGAts will never get over the fact that the very first criminal indictment handed out to an ex-president was authored by a black guy. That in iteself is precious. Will Ms. Willis be next? Certainly hope so.

Here's a cute video making fun of all the tough, conservative men brought to tears by the Lying Dotard's indictment.

Now we know why the GOP is anti-abortion in every which way including the morning after pill.

My favorite from the comments, this one about Desi Lydic. "I love how she narrates this like Sarah McLachlan in a shelter full of rescue dogs."

Is Graham really pleading for money to help a billionaire defend himself???
