As for Rhodes and the seditious conspiracy charge, you'd need to prove to the jury that Rhode's intent was to "conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States". And that's real proof, not conjecture or hearsay evidence.

That said, there is some interesting evidence out there against Rhodes and the company. It'll be interesting to follow this trial.
Both crimes, criminal trespass and seditious conspiracy, require real proof, not conjecture or hearsay. That said, seditious conspiracy is indeed a rare charge, mostly because the idea of doing so was anathema to patriotic Americans in the past. Now, however, many in the GOP have become convinced that sedition and/or "Second Amendment solutions" are somehow the ultimate expression of patriotism.

There are far too many to list, but here are 147 of them, many of whom were tweeting "1776" on January 6.

And your Dear Leader did far more than just call for an overthrow of our government. He and his minions were active, willing participants in an autogolpe with that exact objective. Try to keep up, Mike.

How 'bout we start with the despicable Federalist Josh Hawley, who you, being a MAGAMoron, no doubt admire.

I've seen something recently that was the same reply soon after the 2020 election was called for Biden and again after the results were certified. A bunch of nonsense about governors and legislators "changed the rules" on voting ahead of the election. Distilled down, this complaint must be about too many people voting since there was scant evidence anywhere of the amount of rampant voter fraud that would have been needed to overturn the election. Those nasty deep state controlled governors and/or legislatures simply let too many people cast their ballot and participate in the democratic process. Too many people who didn't vote Republican, it seems.

Sorry, but that doesn't cut it. Voting is part of the democratic process, and not a call to overthrow the government. You'll need to do a lot better to substantiate your claim.

So, supporting and/or helping to plan and implement an autogolpe is not calling to overthrow the government? In my book, it most certainly is. You have a lot more tolerance for a coup attempt than I do.

Nutty? No, wrong, but not nutty. It's brilliantly simple. As soon as you admit the election wasn't stolen then you can no longer maintain what you did, the coup, was right and just. These people will go to the grave parroting the big lie.
