The GOP's American psychosis didn't start with Trump. It won't end with him, either.

If this happens, going forward every election for POTUS will have to be settled by the SCOTUS since the fudged electoral college votes will be rejected by Congress. All the more reason to pack the courts now considering the GOP has nominated a handful of extremely weak Senate candidates this election cycle, assuming that the Democrats get a 53/47 advantage in the Senate.

Republicans in key battleground races refuse to say they will accept results
I had mentioned before that the fix is in to steal the next election, its a matter of where and when.
Quote:
Of the 19 GOP candidates questioned by The Washington Post, a dozen declined to answer or refused to commit. Democrats overwhelmingly said they would respect the results.
A dozen Republican candidates in competitive races for governor and Senate have declined to say whether they would accept the results of their contests, raising the prospect of fresh post-election chaos two years after Donald Trump refused to concede the presidency.
|
For now this may be just bluster, but the SCOTUS is no longer independent and is controlled by the GOP and the extreme right like the Federalist Society. Enemy of democracy is not the GOP but the SCOTUS, they can very well decline to review any election related cases under the guise of states rights.

Two things I hope the Dems are able to do after the midterms is pack the SC and eliminate the Electoral College.
As for the enemies of democracy who won't accept the election results, were I a Dem candidate I'd tie that around the neck of each and every one. I'd tell the voters that no matter what their will, to these GOP candidates, it doesn't matter.

EC hardwired into constitution and can't be gotten rid of. But the Supreme Court can be packed, and I'm all for it at this point.

The GOP would scream bloody murder if the Dems tried to amend the constitution but will do it themselves in a heartbeat if they got the chance.

A big reason we are against them is they hate our laws.

Wow! What a lamentation!
Trumps non concession and the 4 years attempt to prove his presidency illegitimate have an overall corrosive effect on the system.
