I'd suggest the secrecy reference works well given the misleading characterization of the purpose of this committee. This bunch has zero interest in getting to the core of what happened on Jan 6th.

LOL. The hearings are public and far from arbitrary and oppressive. Indeed, they are perhaps the best managed and most informative Congressional hearings in a generation. That's why the GOP hates them.

It's the GOP who has zero interest in getting to the core of what happened. If they did, they would have voted to approve the independent commission negotiated by their very own John Katko (R-PA). Instead, they describe Jan. 6 as a "normal tourist visit" and praise Jan. 6 insurrectionists.
