Are you wishing for hurricanes now,Finn? In fact, peak is about two weeks away. In fact, mother nature is going to have a lot of catching up to do....lotsa hurricanes in a small window...to get close to what was forecast.

I hope you don't get your wish.

Typical bullcrap from this poster.
Typical idiotic, intellectually lazy post from Bob. Do you deny that the climate alarmists argue every year that the number of major hurricanes will continue to rise?

His malignant narcissism simply doesn't allow him to fade from the national scene and dedicate himself to something useful (nor do the investigations of his rampant criminality in NY, DC, GA and FL). Instead he continues to rile up the rubes to assuage his insatiable ego. He, a self-proclaimed builder, could contribute his time and money to Habitat for Humanity, for example. But no! He'd rather whine about a stolen election and his unfair persecution while running principled conservatives from office in favor of lunatics and fascists.

2. Biden has the greatest record of legislative achievement in the first 18 months of his presidency in modern times, whether you (or I) like the legislation or not. This is particularly noteworthy considering Democrats' razor-thin majority in Congress. To wit:
  • Inflation Reduction Act
  • PACT Act (addressing veterans' burn-pit exposure)
  • CHIPS and Science Act
  • Safer Communities Act (first meaningful gun control legislation in 30 years)
  • American Rescue Plan
  • Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill (something Trump promised nearly every week for 4 years)
  • Violence Against Women Act (allowed by Trump to expire)
All Trump got done was a ~$2 trillion tax cut for the big business and the wealthy.

Beyond that Biden:
  • Reestablished our traditional alliances, treaties (NATO, Paris Climate Accords)
  • Backed the right side in the Russia/Ukraine war (Trump called Putin's naked aggression there "genius," "savvy" and "wonderful.")
  • Reestablished America as a beacon for democracy and not ChristoFascism (as Trump did)
  • Presided over the year with the greatest job growth in American history and strongest GDP growth in nearly 40 years.
And these accomplishments pale compared to his greatest achievement - Denying Trump a second term and forestalling Trump's push towards a corrupt, violent ChristoFascist autocracy.
1). BS. The investigations have been going on for 6 years. I suspect you'd be whining too if you were the subject of federal and state investigations - which so far have produced multiple nothing burgers - which continue with no end in sight.

2). BS. With the possible exception of the infrastructure funding, and we'ii need to wait and see how the money is actually spent - the rest of the items you listed are wonderful if you're a DC political animal. You can get your photo op on C Span slapping your useless colleagues on the back and call it a day.

Meanwhile, if you're not immersed in all things DC, inflation I'd still out of control (which the so called Inflation Reduction Act will actually add to), gas prices are up, crime is up, the border is wide open, and DC appears to have no answers for any of it.

"Christofascist"? Sounds like religious intolerance to me.

He's a fucking career criminal as was his father. Career criminals get investigated. As for "nothing burgers" your "Russia hoax" led to the convictions of, among others, Trump’s White House national security advisor, campaign chairman, deputy campaign chairman, foreign policy advisor, personal lawyer, and to the indictment of 13 Russian nationals who interfered in our elections as part of the larger plot. And were it not for Bill Barr, Trump would likely have been indicted too for obstruction of justice.

The fact that you don't like these bills does not mean that they are not legislative achievements. I think all of them enjoy majority support.

Guilty as charged. I'm intolerant of fascism whether it's tied to religion or not (It almost always is. See Item #8) If you actually want to learn more about it, read this.

Tropical depression very likely to form near Caribbean; forecasters tracking 3 other systems

The first tropical depression in two months appears likely to form this week, as an unusually quiet Atlantic hurricane season shows signs of getting into higher gear.

An area of stormy weather in the central Atlantic stands a 80% chance of organizing itself into a tropical depression “at the very least” over the next five days...

The system is one of four low-pressure areas being monitored for possible cyclone formation, as the Atlantic settles into the traditional peak period for the formation of storms. The most active part of hurricane season is from mid-August to the end of October, with Sept. 10 the statistical peak of the season.

Typically dishonest post from poor Whelly. Face it son, you're way out of your league here. Finnbow has destroyed every squalling brat argument you've ever had.

Run along, snowflake.
