Vlad's world view is shaped largely by the bombing and sacking of Libya by Nato which resulted in a failed state and the reappearance of open slave markets.
Russia under Medvedev abstained to vote at the UN. A decision it rued to this day.
The obscene exultation by certain figures following Libya's destruction was broadcasted worldwide.
Some felt that Libya's main sin...it wanted to de-dollarize.

He was at least as upset about NATO attacking Serbia, another of his autocratic client states. The common thread in Libya, Serbia and Ukraine is his concern about friendly (to him) autocracies becoming democracies.

Putin is using his tactical and strategic advantages in the Russian Empire's best interest. Thing is, NATO is still fighting the Cold War against the USSR.

NATO isn't "fighting" anywhere (now that we're out of Afghanistan), whereas Putin and his stooges are fighting in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Mali, Syria, Belarus, and Georgia along with cyberattacks in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia (and the United States) and political assassinations in the UK and Germany.
Try to keep up, Comrade.

I do believe NATO is still re-fueling the Saudi planes that bomb Yemen. And supplying weapons all over the world.
Most likely 1,000 things the public is not allowed to know about. A 3 trillion dollar annual black budget goes a long way.

It's the USA re-fueling and maintaining Saudi planes, not NATO. As for selling weapons all over the world, this is done by individual nations and not NATO. In fact, NATO member nations actively compete with each other (as well as non-member states such as Russia, Israel, Brazil and even Iran) in the international arms bazaar.
As for the US "black budget," it is difficult to estimate, but is generally thought to be $30-50 billion.

You're still fighting the Cold War.
As far as keeping up goes. Do you know the difference between cold and hot?

Obscene exultation? Really? You don't realize it, but your brain has become fertile soil for a garden-grown-riot of crazy conservative memes.

All my jokes aside; Putin is going to take the Ukraine starting on Wednesday, just like TC said. (He doesn't want that canal in Turkey at all.)
It will last less than a week before the Ukrainians surrender.
We'll be on DEFCON 2.
