It's intended use is as an extra measure to control breakthrough infections, not a substitute for vaccination.

However some will see it as an excuse for not getting vaccinated, completely missing the main reason for getting vaccinated, which is to reduce the spread of covid-19 and the proliferation of new strains of the virus that may be more dangerous.
