Aaron Rogers acted like the usual Covid denier and got infected regardless of using the crap touted as a cure or treatment. Hopefully he'll make a complete recovery but the same can't be said of hundreds of thousands who thought they were Covid proof too. Someone over on AK said "Thank God for Aaron Rogers". Thanking God for someone who's behavior could lead others to the same behavior that's cost so many their lies. Yeah he said that.

In the Banana Republic of Germany you currently have to stand in line in windy November coldness for about three hours in order to get a vaccination. Click to enlarge - I am the guy with the green jacket looking back. However, now I got my booster - it feels good to be proteceted now as best as possible.

Chris, heard on BBC today about how bad it has gotten in Germany lately. Especially in Saxony and the outbreak in mostly the unvaccinated by the virus at the current moment.

Glad to read you now have the booster.

We have currently "no" government. The current government with good old Angela is a lame duck.

The inauguration of the new one with Chancellor Scholz will be in about three weeks. No responsibility, no competence in this very moment. But any day counts. We need much more strict rules. We need decisions that kick the vaccination deniers in their fucking ass.

Meanwhile the caretakers in the intensive units are on their mental limit. There is happening a lot of incredible bullshit in the Fatherland. Or - as I called it above - the Banana Republic of Germany.

Today's Dutch Government decison making presents the lockdown for all people who are not yet vaccinated, same thing in Austria from Sunday on. This is the way. Apparently.

Hang in there. Here in primitive Texas, I'll get my booster at the local grocer for free while waiting inside for probably 15 minutes at most while suffering the inconvenience of masking.
