The White House is authorizing the National Archives to turn over an initial set of documents related to Trump’s activities on Jan. 6.

I'll bet Trump is having fits over the fact that Biden is going to turn over the documents. Couldn't happen to a more deserving person.

The protest followed Trump's calling Mexican immigrants criminals and rapists.

This is like the local case with national implications of Elizabeth Holmes who founded Theranos and bilked investors of hundreds of millions. While waiting for her case to come to court, she got married into very serious money, got pregnant, had a child and is now claiming mental and sexual abuse from her ex-partner during their time at the helm of Theranos. The fraud case against them should have been tried together but her attorneys were able to talk to the courts to bring the two cases separately. So delay, delay, delay does have benefits.
